3 years ago I accidentaly got a small amount of poorly diluted essential oil in both my eyes. I washed for about 5minutes then cryed and after that it felt better so I went to sleep. The next morning my eyes burned a little so I went to the eye clinic the dg was corrosio corneae et conjunctivae, my vision was perfect and I was sent home with eye gel and vitamin a oil the dr said everything will be fine.. Long story short, my eyes have been dry for almost 3 years and I depend on artificial tears. My pc suspected sjogrens because my mouth is sometimes very dry. But lab tests were negative. I am scared that even though the injury was not serrious, the goblet cells are destroyed and that's why my eyes are still dry. Can you please help. I keep blaming myself😢😢😢😢
